Family Fishing Day

May long weekend is Free Family Fishing weekend on PEI. Angling licenses are not required, but you must abide by all regular fishing rules and regulations.  MRMC’s Family Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 9am to 1pm. There will be a BBQ and prizes – everyone is welcome! Special thanks to our 2023 Family Fishing Day Sponsors: Morell Consumers Coop, Going Fishing, Eskape Anglers, PEI Department of Forests Fish & Wildlife and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. Bowen Collins Memorial Fly Fishing Derby

The Bowen Collins Memorial Fly Fishing Derby runs from September 3rd to 10th 2023. To register for the Fly Fishing derby, please email coordinator@morellriverpei.com. There will be Fly Tying and Casting Workshops at Mooney’s Pond on September 9th and 10th from 10-2pm each day. Stop by for fly tying demonstrations, casting instructions, BBQ hotdogs, and great giveaways!
